
Ann Lynch
Ann Lynch has worked for decades to improve the accessibility and quality of health care and education in Southern Nevada through her work at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, the PTA and countless other community, health and educational organizations. She was the former president of the National PTA and past member of President George H. W. Bush's Education Advisory Commission She helped to establish the Sunrise Children's Hospital Foundation, the "Baby Your Baby Program" and the Health Care Coalition for Nevada. Anns work in instituting immunizations for children in Clark County Schools has saved countless lives. Her educational impact was formally acknowledged in 1990 when the Ann T. Lynch Elementary School opened in Las Vegas. Lynch was honored by the Lifetime Education Achievement Award presented by The Public Education Foundation in 2003. In 2007, Lynch received the first Roseman University of Health Sciences Champion of Health Care in Education Award. In 2012, she received the Nevada Newsmakers Outreach Lifetime Achievement Award.
