The Impact of Chronic Disease on U.S. Health and Prosperity: A Call to Action for Health Reform
On May 14, 2009, the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease released the 2009 edition of its annual publication, The Almanac of Chronic Disease, during a breakfast event at the National Press Club. The Almanac is a collection of charts, quotes and statistics about the burden of chronic disease in the U.S., with a particular emphasis on the importance of chronic disease prevention and management for economic recovery in the U.S.
