Chronic disease deserves more attention this election.
The presidential candidates need to address how they will better manage the growing number of Americans suffering from one or more chronic conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and depression. The list is long. According to the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease, chronic diseases such as these are the leading cause of death and disability in Wisconsin.
